Sunflower Seeds (HarvestCraft)[]
Sunflower Seeds are byproducts of the Sunflowers added by the HarvestCraft mod. Sunflower Seeds are edible, and can be consumed to reduce the player's hunger.
Sunflowers are are found in Plains biomes, and breaking a Sunflower will result in the edible item, Sunflower Seeds.
Planting a new plot of Sunflowers requires a Sunflower Seeds Seed.
Planting a Sunflower Seed[]
A Sunflower Seed can be obtained in one of three ways, depending on if you are playing the Basic or Hungry version of the Life in the Woods modpack:
- Placing Sunflower Seeds in a crafting grid will craft one Sunflower Seed.
- Breaking grass has a chance to result in a Sunflower seed as part of the random seeds dropped. (Basic)
- Using a hoe to till a non-hydrated grass block (not near the water) will cause the grass to drop a randomly selected seed, possibly a Sunflower Seed. (Hungry)
Once obtained, a Sunflower Seed can be planted by right-clicking on tilled soil while it is held in the player's hand. This is the same method used for Potatoes and Carrots in vanilla Minecraft.

The following recipes use Sunflower or Sunflower Seeds: Cooking Oil, Salted Sunflower Seeds, Spring Salad, Sunflower Broccoli Salad, and Sunflower Wheat Rolls.
