Rice (HarvestCraft)Edit

Rice is one of many grain crops added by the HarvestCraft mod. It is inedible, and cannot be consumed to reduce the player's hunger.

Rice, like most grains, can be used to craft Flour.

Rice can be obtained by right-clicking on a ripe Rice crop to harvest it. As with all HarvestCraft crops, the crop does not need to be replanted after harvesting, as it will use the same plot to grow future Rice.

Planting a new plot of Rice requires a Rice Seed.

Planting Rice SeedsEdit

A Rice Seed can be obtained in one of three ways, depending on if you are playing the Basic or Hungry version of the Life in the Woods modpack:

  1. Placing Rice in a crafting grid will craft one Rice Seed.
  2. Breaking grass has a chance to result in a Rice seed as part of the random seeds dropped. (Basic)
  3. Using a hoe to till a non-hydrated grass block (not near the water) will cause the grass to drop a randomly selected seed, possibly a Rice Seed. (Hungry)

Once obtained, Rice Seeds can be planted by right-clicking on tilled soil while it is held in the player's hand. This is the same method used for Potatoes and Carrots in vanilla Minecraft.
