Blowgun (Shooting Weapon)[]
The Blowgun is a Shooting Weapon from the Weapon Mod. In order to use it, you must craft both the Blowgun and the Poisonous Darts it uses for ammunition. There are several types of Poisonous Darts that can be crafted, each causing different potion effects on the target.
Speed: Fast
Damage: 2 damage + potion effect for 6 seconds
Deviation: Small (very accurate when aimed)
Ammo: Poisonous Darts
A Blowgun can be crafted by placing 3 Sugar Canes in a diagonal line in the 3x3 crafting grid. Poisonous Darts can be crafted by placing a Stick and another object (Cactus, Spider Eye, Zombie Flesh, or Slimeball) above a Feather in a vertical line in the crafting grid. The item placed between the stick and feather determines the potion effect applied to the dart. There are 4 different Poisonous Darts available.
You can load or reload the Blowgun by holding down the right mouse button. Once loaded, you can aim by holding the right mouse button again, and the Blowgun Dart will fire when you release the button. The Blowgun's firing range is about the same as a normal Bow.
