Display Case (Bibliocraft)[]

Display Cases are an item from the Bibliocraft & Add-ons mod that allows players to showcase an item in in a stylish wooden case with wool lining.

Each Display Case can hold one item, and an item can only be added or removed from the Display Case by right-clicking with if the Display Case is open. The Display Case can be opened and closed by Sneak+Left-Clicking on the glass with an empty hand. If an item is held in the player's hand while right-clicking on the empty Display Case, it will be added directly to the Display Case. If the player right-clicks with an empty hand, it will open the GUI.

Display Cases can be crafted from Wood Slabs, a Glass Pane, and one of 4 different colored Wool Blocks (Red, Blue, Green, or Black). The Wool Block used will determine the color of the lining on the back of the Display Case, though this can be recoloured later in versions 1.6 or higher of Bibliocraft.

Display Cases can be crafted out of any of the 6 vanilla woods or any wood from other mods supported by the Bibliowoods add-on. This does not impact the function in any way, but does change the visual appearance of the Display Case, allowing greater customization.

Recolouring the Wool Lining[]

In versions 1.6 or higher (which includes 1.6.4, the version that is used for the Life in the Woods modpack) the wool of the display case can be changed using any of the 16 available colors of Wool Carpet. The Display Case itself may still have to be crafted using of the 4 original Wool colors depending on the version of Bibliocraft used.

A Screw Gun  can be used to easily remove Wool Carpet from the Display Case, once added.

Redstone[]

If a Redstone Block is displayed inside the Display Case, it will emit a Redstone signal.
