Carpenter's Daylight Sensor (Carpenter's Blocks)Edit
The Carpenter's Daylight Sensor works differently than the Daylight Sensor in vanilla Minecraft. In addition to being able to alter the base block's appearance to match that of any block, you can also set the Carpenter's Daylight Sensor to one of two modes.
By right-clicking on the sensor with the Carpenter's Hammer, you can switch between the two trigger modes:
- Monsters Can Spawn (storms included) will cause the Daylight Sensor to emit a Redstone signal of 15 strength when light levels allow monsters to spawn.
- Player Can Sleep will cause the Daylight Sensor to emit a Redstone signal of 15 strength when it is night.
Reversing the Polarity of Redstone DevicesEdit
The polarity of the Carpenter's Daylight Sensor can be reversed or inverted by left-clicking on it while holding the Carpenter's Hammer.
- Left-clicking once will cause the sensor to emit a Redstone signal when the trigger conditions are not met.
- Left-clicking a second time will return the Redstone polarity to normal, and cause the sensor to only emit a Redstone signal when the trigger conditions are met.
