Asparagus (HarvestCraft)[]
Asparagus are one of many crops added by the HarvestCraft mod. It is edible, and can be consumed to reduce the player's hunger.
Asparagus can be obtained by breaking (or in Hungry mode, right-clicking) a ripe Asparagus crop to harvest it. If you are playing in Hungry mode, the plant itself will remain and grow new Asparagus crops over time without the need to replant.
Planting a new plot of Asparagus requires an Asparagus Seed.
Planting Asparagus Seeds[]
An Asparagus Seed can be obtained in one of three ways, depending on if you are playing the Basic or Hungry version of the Life in the Woods modpack:
- Placing an Asparagus in a crafting grid will craft one Asparagus Seed.
- Breaking grass has a chance to result in an Asparagus seed as part of the random seeds dropped. (Basic)
- Using a hoe to till a non-hydrated grass block (not near the water) will cause the grass to drop a randomly selected seed, possibly an Asparagus Seed. (Hungry)
Once obtained, Asparagus can be planted by right-clicking on tilled soil while it is held in the player's hand. This is the same method used for Potatoes and Carrots in vanilla Minecraft.
